Verity Mod Commands

Use this page when a video, comment, or search result tells you to run a Verity command but does not say which project it belongs to. Verity BE, Verity - Bedrock Edition by PnTMC, Verity Pocket Edition (Be), Verity JE, and VERITY.exe do not share one command list. The right answer depends on the installed file, Bedrock or Java edition, active packs, AI route, and whether you are trying to talk, change language, connect the backend, wake Verity, fix dots, restore a missing item, force an event, or test voice.

Command table

Which command belongs to which Verity route?

Command or trigger Use on What it is for Do not use it when
Verity + message Verity BE Starts a normal chat prompt after the Bedrock add-on, packs, Beta APIs, cheats, and backend route are ready. You installed PnTMC, Java Verity JE, a modpack, or a random MCPE repost.
/script debugger connect traye.ddns.net Verity BE and Pocket-style Bedrock support routes that document it Connects the Bedrock script/debugger backend route used by public support notes. You are in Java Edition, have not enabled Beta APIs, or do not have cheats/permissions for commands.
/verity_language PnTMC Verity - Bedrock Edition Opens or changes the language path documented by PnTMC and MCPEDL-style pages. Your file is Verity BE by Undertaletalelover or a Java JAR.
Hey Verity PnTMC when Verity is in inventory Wakes Verity from the inventory state so you can interact when close enough. Verity is not from PnTMC, packs are inactive, or the entity never spawned.
/verity:tts on or /verity:tts off Only if your Verity BE version notes expose that route Toggles local text-to-speech behavior on supported Verity BE builds. You are expecting live microphone chat or using a different project.
Java keybind, direct chat, or voice control Verity JE or VERITY.exe, depending on the installed profile Works only after the Java mod or modpack loads and the AI provider route responds. You are trying to fix a Bedrock add-on with Java-only instructions.
/verity give_ball Only a Java or fanmade build that exposes this namespace Usually described as a way to give a Verity item back for testing or recording. You installed Verity BE, PnTMC Bedrock, Pocket Edition, VERITY.exe, or an official page that does not list it.
/verity event prophecy or /verity event anomaly Only a Java or fanmade build whose help output confirms event commands Usually described as forcing story or anomaly events for testing. You are in a normal survival world, Bedrock world, Realm, public server, or unsupported file branch.
/verity status Only a Java or fanmade build that documents a status subcommand Usually described as checking day, mood, or stored state while debugging. The command is not shown by /help, the namespace is unknown, or the source is only a repost.

Bedrock rules

Why Bedrock command searches are so easy to mix up

Verity BE uses a chat prefix and backend setup

Current Verity BE source notes say the add-on needs Bedrock 26.30, active setup, Beta APIs, support from the project route, and a debugger connect command before normal AI conversation is reliable. Once the route is ready, the public play instruction says to type the word Verity followed by whatever you want to ask. That is a chat trigger, not a slash command and not a Java keybind.

If Verity BE only says dots, does not respond, or shows Error: No Purpose, do not jump to PnTMC commands. Confirm file record 8506198, a clean Bedrock 26.30 world, behavior and resource pack activation, Beta APIs, cheats, internet access, and the current support video path first. Use the Error: No Purpose checklist if that exact phrase appears.

PnTMC has its own language and wake behavior

The PnTMC route is a separate Verity - Bedrock Edition project. Its public instructions say players can change languages with /verity_language, chat with Verity when he is on the ground, wake him in inventory by typing Hey Verity, and stay close because he may not hear the player from far away. Those rules answer PnTMC searches, not every Verity add-on that appears in a video.

If you installed Verity BE but a tutorial shows /verity_language, you are probably reading a PnTMC tutorial. If you installed PnTMC but a tutorial says distance does not matter, you may be reading a Verity BE tutorial. The fix is not to keep running commands. The fix is to identify the project, then follow that project's current instructions.

Fanmade command claims

What if a guide says to run /verity give_ball?

Do not treat fanmade Java commands as universal

Some third-party guides and video comments list operator commands such as /verity give_ball, /verity event prophecy, /verity event anomaly, or /verity status. Those lines may be useful for a specific Java build, recording setup, or now-deleted fanmade branch, but they are not the same as the current first-party Bedrock routes and they are not proof that every Verity Mod download exposes a /verity command namespace.

Before using one, open the exact installed project page, check whether the file is Java or Bedrock, and run Minecraft's own command autocomplete or /help in a test world where you have operator permission. If the namespace is missing, stop there. Replacing the file, joining a server, or forcing a story event from an unverified command list can create a harder troubleshooting problem than the original missing item.

Use source order when commands conflict

Maintainer pages, file changelogs, in-game help output, and official support notes beat fan summaries. For current Bedrock confusion, the documented PnTMC route is the /verity_language language path and the Hey Verity wake behavior. The documented Verity BE route is the chat prefix plus the Bedrock debugger connect setup. Java projects should be checked through their loader, dependency, and AI provider setup before assuming a slash command is the fix.

If your real goal is to summon Verity, restore the ball, or trigger the monster form, start with the spawn checklist. If your real goal is to talk to Verity, use the talk guide. If your exact command appears in a guide but not in your game, the likely answer is that the guide and your installed route are not the same project.

Clean test

Run one command test before changing files

Step 1 Project

Write down the exact project name

A useful command report starts with Verity BE, PnTMC, Pocket Edition, Verity JE, or VERITY.exe. Add the Project ID, file record, package name, Minecraft version, and where the instructions came from. Without this, helpers will guess and often give a command for the wrong route.

Step 2 World

Use a new test world for Bedrock commands

Activate only the matching behavior and resource packs. Enable Beta APIs and cheats if the project requires them. Restart Minecraft after changing experiments. A clean world tells you whether the command is wrong or the old save is conflicting with the add-on.

Step 3 One action

Change only one variable at a time

Do not switch files, add packs, join a server, change language, and test voice in the same minute. Run one command or one chat trigger, record the exact result, then decide the next route. This prevents a download loop caused by mixed tutorials.

Java and voice

Java command problems usually are not Bedrock command problems

Verity JE needs provider setup before interaction debugging

The Java Verity JE route is a Forge or NeoForge mod route. Its public source pages describe an AI assistant powered by Groq and a setup tutorial. That means the useful first check for a Java player is usually loader, dependencies, profile, AI provider, API key, model, or voice layer, not /script debugger connect or /verity_language. Those are Bedrock commands from other routes.

If the Java mod loads but Verity does not answer, test a short typed prompt before microphone or voice output. If a provider returns 401, 403, or 429, use the API error pages instead of changing the command. A status code usually means the file loaded and the next layer is credentials or quota.

Voice videos can make command intent confusing

Recent videos often combine setup, voice, command blocks, Bedrock imports, and dramatic role play in one recording. A viewer then searches for a Verity Mod command and may land on a command meant for a different project. Before copying a line from a video description, compare the source link with the installed file. If the video links Verity BE, use Verity BE rules. If it links PnTMC, use PnTMC rules. If it links a Java JAR, do not run Bedrock chat commands.

Use the talk guide when the entity appears but text, microphone, voice chat, or TTS is the problem. Use the spawn checklist when the entity never appears. Use the not-working hub when you still cannot tell whether this is source, setup, provider, voice, or world state.

FAQ

Verity command questions

What command do I type to talk to Verity BE?

After the Verity BE add-on is installed and the Bedrock setup is ready, type Verity followed by the message you want to send. If he only says dots or does not respond, check the debugger connect step, Beta APIs, cheats, active packs, backend status, and support notes before switching to another command.

What is the PnTMC language command?

The PnTMC Verity - Bedrock Edition source route documents /verity_language. Use it only on the PnTMC add-on route. It should not be treated as a universal Verity BE, Java, APK, or modpack command.

Why does the debugger connect command fail?

Common causes are wrong edition, inactive behavior pack, Beta APIs off, cheats or command permission missing, unsupported Bedrock version, no internet connection, or backend support issues. Confirm the exact source page before changing the command string.

Can command blocks summon Verity?

Do not start with command blocks. First prove the official route works in a clean world. Bedrock add-ons usually need active packs and experiments before any command can affect the entity. Java files need the loader and mod profile to load first. Command-block videos can be entertaining, but they are weaker than maintainer instructions for a real install.

Why does /verity give_ball say unknown command?

That usually means your installed route does not expose that Java-style command namespace. It is common when a player installed a Bedrock add-on, PnTMC file, Pocket Edition package, VERITY.exe modpack, or a newer Java branch while following a fanmade command list. Check the project page and in-game help output before trying more slash commands.
