You saw a VERITY.exe video
If a video names VERITY.exe, follow the modpack route and compare the current file list before
installing. Check whether the video was recorded on Forge or NeoForge, whether the profile used
voice chat, and whether the author mentions Groq. Videos often skip those details because the
installation already happened off camera. Your setup still needs them.
Do not assume every comment under the video points to the same package. Comments can link to a
Bedrock addon, a Java jar, a source archive, a Discord file, or a short-link page. If you want
VERITY.exe, open the publisher's modpack page and use the file branch shown there.
You only want the yellow Verity companion
In that case, decide whether you want the easiest packaged profile or the cleanest file route.
The modpack may be faster if you trust the pack and want the bundled experience. Verity JE may
be cleaner if you already manage your own Java profile and want to control dependencies. Bedrock
routes are better if you are on mobile or Minecraft Bedrock.
This page exists because players use the same words for different install goals. A strong
search result should not force everyone through the same button. It should tell the player
whether the result is a modpack, Java mod, Bedrock addon, MCPE import, or old missing link.
If you are comparing VERITY.exe with Verity Mod Java pages, decide how much control you want.
A modpack can be convenient because it brings an intended profile together. A standalone Java
route can be better if you want to inspect each dependency and keep your own launcher layout.
Neither route should ask you to download from an unrelated EXE mirror or enter account secrets.
